Hello, my name is Samina Tahir, and I opened my dayhome in 2023 because I am passionate about working with children and supporting their growth and development. I strive to create a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment where every child feels valued and supported. I recognize that each child develops at their own pace, so I plan activities that meet their individual developmental needs while encouraging their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth.
Outdoor play is an important part of our daily routine, giving children opportunities to stay active, explore nature, build gross motor skills, and develop friendships through play. Along with outdoor experiences, I provide activities such as arts and crafts, sensory play, story time, music, and imaginative play to promote learning in a fun and engaging way. I maintain open communication with families and have received positive feedback from both parents and my licensing agency for providing a caring, inclusive, and enriching environment where children feel happy, safe, and excited to learn.
Age Group:
Infants (0–12 months)
Toddlers (1–3 years)

Activities / Special Programs:
My dayhome offers a variety of activities that support children’s overall development, including daily outdoor play, arts and crafts, sensory activities, story time, music and movement, imaginative play, and early learning activities that promote language, literacy, and problem-solving skills. I also celebrate seasonal themes and cultural holidays to help children learn about diversity and build a sense of belonging. All activities are planned to meet the children’s developmental needs while encouraging creativity, independence, and social interaction in a fun, safe, and nurturing environment.
