Hello, my name is Shaista Jalil, and I am the owner and primary caregiver of my dayhome. I have a strong passion for working with children and creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where they can learn and grow. With 2 years of experience in childcare, I focus on supporting each child’s individual development socially, emotionally, and intellectually through patience, consistency, and positive guidance. I maintain a structured yet flexible daily routine that helps children feel secure while allowing room for creativity and exploration.
In my dayhome, children participate in a variety of activities, including arts and crafts, pre-writing, and sensory play. I emphasize kindness, sharing, and respect, helping children build strong social skills. Parents have shared positive feedback about the warm, welcoming environment and the clear communication I provide through daily updates. I take pride in building trusting relationships with both children and their families, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and confident in the care provided.
