Hello, my name is Shafaq Khan, and I am the proud educator and caregiver at Mini Wonders Dayhome, located in Livingston NE. I am passionate about creating a safe, loving, and stimulating home environment where children feel comfortable, confident, and excited to learn.
Our daily routine is thoughtfully designed to balance structure and flexibility, allowing children to explore through play while feeling secure in predictable transitions. Each day includes free play, circle time, music and movement, creative art, sensory experiences, outdoor play, and quiet rest moments.
At Mini Wonders Dayhome, I focus on nurturing each child’s individuality while supporting their social, emotional, physical, and language development. I believe that even the smallest moments lead to big discoveries, and I strive to make every day meaningful, joyful, and full of wonder.

Activities / Special Programs:
At Mini Wonders Dayhome, we offer play-based activities that support children’s overall development. These include daily literacy experiences, creative art and sensory play, music and movement, and regular outdoor play. We also focus on social-emotional learning through positive guidance, helping children build self-regulation, confidence, and strong relationships. Activities are planned based on children’s interests and individual needs, creating meaningful and engaging learning experiences.
