My name is Huimin Huang. I have over 24 years of professional experience as a university instructor overseas before immigrating to Canada. After settling in Canada, I continued my professional development and obtained multiple local qualifications, including Librarian Certificates, Document Control Certificates, Health Care Aide Certificate, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) qualification, and a Level 3 Early Childhood Educator Certificate. I also have extensive hands-on work experience in these fields. I have been running a licensed family day home for the past four years and am affiliated with an approved agency.
In my day home, I provide a warm, respectful, and well-structured environment that supports children’s holistic development. Daily programming is carefully planned in alignment with Canadian early childhood development guidelines and agency requirements, with activities that support language development, cognitive skills, social-emotional growth, and physical development. I prepare fresh, nutritious meals daily and place strong emphasis on children’s health, safety, and well-being. Parents and the agency have consistently provided positive feedback regarding my professionalism, clear communication, high-quality programming, and caring approach. My goal is to ensure that every child feels safe, respected, and supported while developing confidence, independence, and a love for learning.
